The value of building permits issued in the City of Grande Prairie in August was up $5 million from July, while the number of permits issued in August was down.
According to the latest report from Invest Grande Prairie, the city issued 59 building permits in August worth $12.3 million. According to the municipal report building permits issued between January and August of 2023 have seen a 36 per cent decline in value and 26 per cent dip in the number of permits issued from compared to the same timeframe in 2022.
