Modified schedule for municipal services on National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Several City of Grande Prairie services will be closed or operating on modified schedules over the weekend in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

On Saturday, September 30th, the Grande Prairie Library will open at 10 a.m., while the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion at Muskoseepi Park, Eastlink Centre and Design Works Centre will open at 12 p.m., with all four closing at 5 p.m. The remainder of city services will be closed, including city hall and the Montrose Cultural Centre. Bonnetts Energy Centre will be open for the PBR Canada Cup Series Peace Country Invitational. On Saturday, Grande Prairie Transit will operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. holiday hours.

On Monday, October 2nd, City Hall, the City Service Centre, City on 99, Bonnetts Energy Centre box office, and the Grande Prairie Museum will be closed. The remaining city facilities, including the Eastlink Centre and Montrose Cultural Centre, will operate during regular hours.
