The Town of Beaverlodge council and committee meetings will continue to be live-streamed, at least for another six months.
During the Monday, September 25th meeting, Beaverlodge council voted to extend livestreaming the meetings for an additional six months before taking another look at the process. Council and committee meetings are live-streamed via teams and can be accessed by anyone who has a computer, smartphone or tablet, but are not recorded to play back later.
The first town meeting was live-streamed on June 12th after the discussion was brought to the council in early May. Over three weeks, administration brought back more information about how live-streaming the meetings would work to council for discussion. On May 23rd, administration was directed to start live-streaming meetings without recording them via teams.
A link and passcode to the Beaverlodge livestream are on the municipality’s website.
