No one was injured after a deck fire in the Carriage Lane neighbourhood over the weekend.
County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Services crews were called to the scene shortly after noon on Sunday, and arrived to a structure fire on a custom-built BBQ deck built at a home.
Crews were able to quickly knock the blaze down and keep the damage limited to a small area on the property. Fire Chief Jason Nesbitt says crews were able to take care of the issue quickly thanks to a speedy 911 call.
