UPDATE: The mall will reopen for regular business hours Thursday.
The Prairie Mall has been unexpectedly closed for the day on Wednesday.
Officials with the mall say there was an issue replacing a water valve in a neighbouring property to the mall, and as a result, the mall is without working water service. While there is no firm timeline for the issue to be fixed, we expect updates as the situation progresses.
