A fire advisory is also no longer in effect for the for the Grande Prairie Wildfire Management Area. Fire permits will again be issued on a case by case basis, but burning is still not allowed when it’s windier than 12 kilometres an hour.

Humid conditions with some light, scattered showers are expected today. Although there is a small chance we’ll see some lightning, the wildfire hazard remains moderate for the region.
