Harvest season has begun early in the County of Grande Prairie, and drivers are being advised to watch for slow-moving agriculture equipment on rural roads.
The County of Grande Prairie suggests those behind the wheel reduce their speed when approaching slow-moving equipment, keep a safe distance, and use caution when passing.
“Many of these vehicles have limited visibility, so ensure you are seen by staying well back and keeping their mirrors in sight.”
According to the county, slow-moving agriculture equipment, such as harvest combines, is crucial in putting food on people’s tables.
