Peace River man charged after alleged residential break and enter

Police in Peace River have charged a 35-year-old man in connection to the break and enter of a home in the town early Wednesday morning. Peace Regional RCMP say they were called to a report of mischief at a home near 98 Street around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, and while the suspect was not initially located, surveillance was obtained.

Two hours later, police responded to a report of a man who attempted to break into a home in the area of 101 Street and threatened the people inside. 35-year-old Darcey Brett has been charged with uttering threats, breaking and entering into a residence, assault, and mischief under $5,000.
