Mounties lay drug trafficking charges stemming from two month Peace River investigation

A 26-year-old from Peace River is facing charges in connection to a months long drug trafficking investigation. Peace Regional RCMP, along with Grande Prairie Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams, began an investigation into cocaine and fentanyl trafficking in the Peace River area back in June.

On August 16th, officers arrested and charged 26-year-old Jennifer Jatho with trafficking cocaine and fentanyl and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000. Jatho was released from custody, and will next appear in court on September 11th.
