When you’re next enjoying an event at Revolution Place, you’ll no longer see a photo of Bill Cosby featured on the wall. It was taken down this weekend, after court documents revealed the entertainer admitted to getting sedatives with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to sleep with.
General Manager Jane Cada-Sharp says the move felt right at this time, adding that they’d only heard a couple of complaints when allegations surfaced a few years ago. Now more than two dozen women have come forward with claims.
Cosby has performed in Grande Prairie twice, and his photo has been up since 1998.
