A rainfall warning has been issued for the Grande Prairie region. Environment Canada says the rain, which will be heavy at times over the next couple of days, could add up to as much as 50 millimetres of of total precipitation potentially falling by Thursday morning.
With heavy rain comes potential concern, as localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible, and residents are urged to keep an eye out for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
