GP Night Market Festival sets to kick off its third year

The GP Night Market Festival will be kicking off its third year with three weekends throughout the summer at Evergreen Park.

Lead Organizer Coryn Briggs says the idea is to make a fun accessible event which everyone can attend and enjoy.

“Obviously over the past three years people have people have been through a lot of challenges so we wanted to make this an event tailored to families where they can come out, they can bring the whole family, they can catch some entertainment, maybe do some shopping and even dancing.”

Briggs says a lot of the festival’s performances are interactive and includes a lot of audience participation.

“The performances are from different cultures and ethnicities, and different backgrounds, and there is also international cuisine along with local food trucks,” Briggs says.

Entrance to the night market is free for seniors and those under the age of 5, for everyone else admission is $5. The event will run June 23rd to 25th, July 14th to 16th, and August 11th to 13th. The event will be open from 4 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday all three weekends.
