Major intersection closure set for Thursday

The intersection of 108 Street and 116 Avenue in Grande Prairie will be closed to both north and southbound traffic on Thursday. The city says the closure will be put in place for crews to complete asphalt milling operations.

Drivers are being warned that traffic on 116 Avenue will not be able to turn north onto 108 Street either. Detours will be put in place around the construction zone, and drivers are being urged to keep safety top of mind and follow all signage and workers.
