Work on rebuilding the entrance to the Montrose Cultural Centre has come along much quicker than anyone expected. The front entrance is ready for use more than a month ahead of the expected completion date initially planned for September.
The quick finish is attributed to the good weather crews experienced while they were excavating the old pavement, as well as the co-operation of the staff at the Montrose Cultural Centre and the willingness of the contractor to accommodate the needs of the facility.
The front entrance is already re-open to the public, though work on landscaping and irrigating the patio area will continue for a few more weeks.
