Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much of the Peace region including Grande Prairie, Valleyview, Beaverlodge, Fairview, Peace River, and the counties of Birch Hills, Clear Hills, and Saddle Hills.
Conditions are favourable for strong winds and large hail. If you do see severe weather approaching you are advised to take cover.
