After three decades the Harry Balfour School has a new logo, which will be displayed on the schools new building once construction is complete, and the centre of the school gymnasium.
The Peace Wapiti School Division institution held an art contest to find the new logo which invited students to submit original pieces. The submissions were then judged by a committee of parents, staff, and students.
School principal Jen Clevette says it was time for the logo to be updated and she couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out.
“We had 24 students submit their artwork for the new logo, it was great to see the level of creativity and excitement.”
The winning piece was submitted by Grade 6 student Eli Krisko.
