One person has died and two people are in hospital following a collision outside of the Fairview RCMP detachment.
According to police, around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, a car and pickup truck with a trailer collided in front of the detachment, with the car said to have been travelling at a high speed through a 30 kilometre an hour zone.
Police located a 30-year-old man from Grande Prairie deceased, while the passenger a 29-year-old woman from the of Berwyn area, and her one-year-old son were airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
RCMP continues to investigate the collision.
