Witnesses play key role in 22-year-old’s arrest

A 22-year-old Brownvale man is facing charges for break and enter along with dangerous driving. On Wednesday, May 31st Fairview RCMP responded to reports of a rural business near Hines Creek being broken into.

According to police, when a witness confronted the suspect in a vehicle, the suspect ran the witness off the road. Officers say the man was later spotted, and crashed his vehicle into the witnesses when they attempted to confront him. Witnesses detained him until police arrived, and the vehicle he was driving was reported stolen from the Grimshaw.

22-year-old Kyle Robinson faces charges for possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, break and enter, and dangerous driving. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to return to court in Peace River on June 5th.
