Beaverlodge RCMP is investigating an alleged assault with a weapon and shots fired. Just before 3 p.m. Monday afternoon, a man flagged down a County officer on Highway 724 and Highway 672 to report he had been kidnapped and assaulted.
The 27 year year old sustained non-life threatening injuries. No further details have been released.
