Police dive teams in Vernon, B.C. are searching a lake for a missing man with family in Grande Prairie.
24 year old Curtis Wilson was reported missing by his family last week, and the friend he was last seen with was found dead in the lake on June 28th. His death is being treated as suspicious.
Wilson’s sister told InfoTel News that he left his home in Lethbridge on June 24th to come visit GP, but instead went to Vernon. The last communication anyone got from him was a text that read “Kal Lake”, referring to Kalamalka Lake being searched.
The vehicle he was driving was found parked in the area.
