Provincial election candidates in Grande Prairie and Grande Prairie-Wapiti ridings are being invited to take part in an all-candidate forum on May 17th.
The Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce is putting on the forum, where each candidate will have the chance to share their political platform, and will also answer questions which will be submitted either before or during the event electronically. According to the chamber, candidates will have one minute to answer the questions.
The forum will take place at the Douglas J. Cardinal Performing Arts Centre at Northwestern Polytechnic. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. According to the chamber, the event is free with tickets being handed out on the concourse beforehand, but tickets will be required to enter the venue.
The forum is open to all, and those interested in attending also can register in advance on the chamber’s website.
