UPDATE: As of May 8, 2018, six of his nine charges were withdrawn. He was sentenced to 14 years in jail on three other charges and a lifetime firearms ban scheduled to start after jail time is served.
A 32-year-old man has been charged with several offences related to sexual assault and child pornography.
Jeffrey Christian Fox was arrested by Grande Prairie RCMP in April, with the help of the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team. He’s next set to appear in court on July 8th.
No further details have been released by police. They encourage anyone who suspects a child is being sexually exploited to contact the detachment or use Canada’s national online tip line at www.cybertip.ca.
