The lucky winner for the 2023 $1.4 million Rotary Dream Home Lottery is Shaleena Higgins from Grande Prairie.
Trinidy Schmidt from Manning, Alberta took home the Rotary Dream Home Lottery Cash Jackpot 50/50 and walked away with $325,775.
According to officials, this year’s Dream Home Lottery was 100 per cent sold out.
Raffle Manager Melissa Coulombe took the chance to thank the sponsors and said it was a huge success.
“It’s a super fun evening it would have been great if our winners came down, but we were super excited to [have] finally sold the dream home, and it’s sinking in now.”
While the main draw took place Thursday at the Taylor Estates property, the Cash Cow Calendar winners are yet to be determined. Throughout the month of May, a total of $12,000 will be given away weekly. With the grand prize of $30,000 handed on May 30th.
11 bonus prizes were also handed out on Wednesday night, including gift cards. The proceeds will go back to the community through several not for profits organizations.
