Double homicide victims ID’d

The victims of last Saturday’s double homicide in Grande Prairie have been identified.

28 year old Abdifatah Mohamed Abdi was found dead in an apartment in the area of 107th Avenue and 100th Street, while 32 year old Osman Mohamoud Hussein passed away in hospital. Both were residents of Grande Prairie.

Autopsies by the Medical Examiner in Edmonton has determined their cause of death was gun shot wounds, and is considered homicide.

RCMP is still investigating the shooting, which happened around 4:30 p.m. on June 27th. It’s still looking for information on three black men seen running away from the apartment building.
