Grande Prairie man facing weapons trafficking charges

A Grande Prairie man is facing several charges in connection with firearms trafficking. The Grande Prairie RCMP says it heard about a man trying to sell a gun for cheap and determined it had been reported stolen in the city on April 7th.

As a result of the investigation, 39-year-old Brandon Neil was arrested and faces charges including possession of firearms for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon obtained by the commission of an offence, weapons trafficking, and unauthorized possession of a fire arm. He remains in custody with a court date set for April 26th.
