Luncheon to recognize administrative professionals

An Administrative Professionals Luncheon is taking place in Grande Prairie on Administrative Professionals Day, April 26th, at the Pomeroy Hotel & Conference Centre.

General Manager for 2day FM Caralee Parr says the event being put on by by 104.7 2day FM and MyGrandePrairieNow.com is creating an opportunity to recognize those who don’t usually get recognition. Parr says she remembers attending a similar luncheon when she first moved to the city.

“Admin professionals are usually the ones handling most of the things in a business, so we just want to make sure they had an opportunity to get recognized, enjoy a good meal with good company, and really just take a pause to appreciate what they are doing for their employers.”.

Parr says along with the food and company the event from 12 to 2 p.m. will also include a photo booth and prizes. Tickets for the event can be purchased online.
