A Grande Prairie woman has more reasons to smile after winning $100,000 on a scratch lottery ticket. On March 12th, Tina Yates purchased a CROSSWORD 2X 3X instant ticket from Derrick Husky at 10919 100th Avenue. After returning home Yates realized the win.
Yates says she couldn’t believe it at first. She scanned the ticket using the Lotto Spot four times before returning to the same store for confirmation.
“I thought to myself, ‘NO WAY!’”. “I think I was a little shocked.”
Yates says she needs more time to decide what she will do with the money.
