Beatrice Love, a local singer who made it to Canada’s Got Talent, wowed judges with the cover of ‘Who’s Lovin’ You’ by the Jackson 5.
Love says she is full of mixed emotions, excited, and grateful for the Canadians who took their time to watch.
“It’s a whirlwind of emotions, anxiety, and a wave of joy. With the increase in social media all the people from Canada who tune in, everybody sharing and liking and sending me positivity it is a really beautiful moment. says Love
Love has been singing on and off since she was young but started to professionally write and perform part-time in 2018. She says even though she wanted to do music full-time, there were so many things stopping her.
“you always wanna do what you love and what brings you the most joy and something you are actually decent at, So I always wanted to pursue music full time but you know I got married I had kids you know things happen, Love says “There so many things they are other that take precedent over chasing a dream.”
Love is originally from Plains Cree Treaty 8 Sturgeon Lake she is hoping to make it to the semi-final and hopefully to the finale.
