The Canadian Cancer Society has their 13th annual Relay for Life under their belts, raising more than $155,000.
Roughly 450 people came out to take part in the 12 hour relay, including survivors and their supporters, along with those who have lost loved ones to the disease.
The money raised will go towards supporting cancer research, but a portion of it will also stay in the community for supportive programming for people living with cancer.
The Relay for Life is the largest cancer fundraising event in the world, in Canada alone more than $42 million was raised last year.

Organizers say teams have already started signing up for what will be the 14th annual event in 2016.
