Clairmont Adventure Park vandalized

The new Clairmont Adventure Park has been open for less than a month, and it’s already been vandalized. Someone graffittied the skate park with spray paint after 11 p.m. Wednesday night, prompting the Grande Prairie Skatepark Association to ask users to respect the park, arguing there’s a big difference between graffiti art and what’s been scrawled.

The Clairmont Ag Society is reaching out to the public in the hopes that someone knows who is responsible. In the meantime, GP Electric has helped install video surveillance cameras and find someone to remove the paint.

The park opened in May after two years of fundraising.
