Registration open for RCMP memorial golf tourney

Registration us now being accepted for the 43rd Annual Archie Harvey Memorial Golf Tournament.

The golf tourney provides an opportunity for local RCMP members, enforcement officers, and members of the community to socialize, get out on the golf course, and raise money fora good cause. The tournament is held each year in honour of Corporal Archie Harvey who was killed in the line of duty in 1967.

The event supports two bursaries at the Grande Prairie Regional College along with other local charities.

The cost to register is $125, which includes breakfast, a golf cart, food and beverages on the course, a banquet dinner, and a registration gift. This year’s tournament is set for August 14 at the Dunes Golf & Winter Club.

Those interested can sign up either as a team or a single player. You can sign up through the local RCMP detachment
