Still no suspect in Hommy Park sexual assault

Beaverlodge RCMP still doesn’t have a suspect in connection with a reported sexual assault in Hommy Park.

A woman was walking through the park just after 8 p.m. Thursday night when she passed a man. That same man, who was carrying a knife, then pulled her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his early twenties, 5’11” with shoulder lengthy, greasy, wavy hair and blue eyes. He had no accent when speaking and was wearing a black hoodie and jeans.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or may be able to identify the man is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
