The Eastlink Centre is hoping to be a part of breaking a world record this week with the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson. The big swim will start at 10 am on Thursday with registration at 9 am.
The first 50 people to register will be able to participate. The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson in 2014 saw more than 36,000 people take part at 480 locations in 22 countries.
The lesson will last for 30 minutes and allows for participation of all ages and skill levels.
The lesson also aims to raise awareness about the importance of knowing how to swim.
