An RCMP jet boat has capsized on the Athabasca River near Whitecourt. The vessel crashed roughly 30 kilometres from the town around noon Friday.
Four officers were on patrol at the time, but all made it to shore and are being brought home by Alberta Forestry. None were seriously injured, but will be assessed by medical professionals.
No other boats or civilians were involved, but an internal review of the incident will be conducted by police.
