The hamlet of Wanham, about an hour north of Bezanson, will play host to the 45th Annual Wanham Plowing Match this weekend. Today is the first full day of the three day event.
New to the plowing match this year is Ladies Barrel Racing, which will join a schedule full of favourites like the PBR Bull Riding Extravaganza Friday evening, the modified tractor pulls, slo-pitch tournament, craft sale and trade show.
There will be heavy horse and tractor plowing as well with awards for the top plowers handed out on Sunday evening. The beer gardens will feature live music all three nights of the plowing match.
