The Grande Prairie Public School District is hoping to attract some more students to take part in their International Baccalaureate Programme. The diploma operates out of the Composite High School, but Principal Dennis Vobeyda says it is open to students from all districts.
“What we really want to do is ignite their education. International Baccalaureate is for anyone who is curious about global issues, wants to experience hands on learning, and enjoys creative and collaborative opportunities with like-minded students.”
Parents who are interested in getting their high school or soon to be high school-aged children involved in the programme can learn more at a information session on Wednesday from 7 to 8 pm at the Comp.
