A 24-year-old Grande Prairie man is facing multiple charges after ALERT Grande Prairie’s organized crime team seized nearly $50,000 of drugs and cash from a home in Pinnacle Ridge.
On November 17th, as part of an investigation, ALERT searched a vehicle along with the home and allegedly found 343 grams of crack cocaine, 920 grams of a suspected buffing agent, and $10,000 cash. Inspector for ALERT Edmonton Brad Lundeen says the seizure is a win for the community.
“Crack cocaine is an incredibly harmful substance and we know it leads to larger issues and the effects it can have on community safety.”
