New Grande Prairie Museum exhibit highlights beauty of Peace Country

The Grande Prairie Museum is focusing on the beauty of the region with the opening of its new exhibit “Mother Earth: Boreal Beauty of the Peace Country.” The exhibit features 82 photos from Peace River photographer Sharon Krushel’s book of the same name.

The photos show a range of views from the area with shots of the northern lights, landscapes, and different views of flora and fauna species.

The museum will launch the new exhibit on December 3rd, with Krushel sharing more about the idea behind the book, which features 1,200 images from more than 30 different photographers and artists. The Mother Earth: Boreal Beauty of the Peace Country exhibit will be on display at the museum until the end of January 2023.
