New psychiatrist practicing in Grande Prairie

Access to mental health services in Grande Prairie has increased, as a new psychiatrist is calling Grande Prairie home. Dr. Anne-Marie Grew will have her primary practice based out of Aberdeen Centre, but also will provide care at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. Dr. Grew will be the eighth psychiatrist working in the area.

Dr. Grew moved to Alberta from Scotland, after receiving her medical training in Scotland at the University of Aberdeen, and did her residency in locations across the country. She and her family now live in Grande Prairie, and she is looking forward to being a part of her new community at home and at work.

“Mental health continues to be at the forefront of medicine and cultural awareness here in Alberta and I’m looking forward to continuing the good work in the community that my colleagues have been doing,” she says.

Dr. Grew specializes in general adult psychiatry.
