Installation work getting started at dino museum

The Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum is set to open this fall and the displays should be arriving in just a few weeks.

City Councillor Kevin O’Toole says he expects the majority to be in place by mid-July, with everything arriving by August 10. Before the official opening though, the public will be able to get a few sneak peeks.

“There will be some soft openings, so there will be construction going on, there will be areas roped off that people are not allowed to go into. There’s lots of stuff happening out there, it’s just trying to get everything in place, on time, and people working together.”

Events are already planned for the Tour of Alberta at the beginning of September. Work is being done now to prepare for the exhibits.
