The Grande Prairie Drillers have found their head coach. Long-time player and former club president Travis Miller has stepped up to lead the team this season.
Miller is already serving as Vice-President. He says it was a difficult decision to switch to coaching, but the players and team are welcoming his leadership skills.
The Drillers season kicks off at home this Saturday night. Kickoff is 6 p.m. at Legion Field against the St. Albert Stars.
