The Alberta Government released their report to wrap up the 2022 wildfire season on Tuesday. According to the report, since January, 82 wildfires started in the Grande Prairie Forest Area, burning 105 hectares of land.
As of Tuesday 80 of those fires have been put out, while two are listed as under control. Even though the wildfire season ended on Monday, people are still being reminded to keep safe fire practices in mind.
