Two charged following break and enter near Sexsmith

Two people are facing charges after an alleged break and enter near Sexsmith. The Grande Prairie RCMP says the investigation began after reports of an incident near Range Road 62 and Township Road 731 on October 28th, during which, it’s believed two suspects left the location and discharged a firearm at the vehicle of the complainant.

Police caught up with the suspect vehicle, which they believe to be stolen, and during the arrest of the two men, a rifle and bear spray were located and seized.

33-year-old Darcy Beckham of Saddle Hills County, and 30-yaer-old Colton Beckman of Grande Prairie are both facing charges of break and enter, flight from police resist arrest and possession of stolen property.
