Wind warning returns to the Peace Region

The Grande Prairie – Beaverlodge – Valleyview and Peace River – Fairview – High Prairie – Manning regions are now under a wind warning. Environment Canada says strong winds with gusts up to 90 kilometers per hour will develop throughout Sunday, before easing up during the evening hours.

“Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.”
