Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation receives donation during Curling Grand Slam

The Sandra Schmirler Foundation presented the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation (GPRH) with $20 thousand during last week’s Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling. The money from this grant will go towards equipment for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Local Olympic Curler Kristie Moore presented the check to the GPRH on behalf of the Sandra Schmirler Foundation. With the latest donation, over the years the GPRH has recieved a total of $80 thousand from the Sandra Schmirler Foundation.

During the event, the Sandra Schmirler Foundation also raised $2000 during their Crowd Sweep. The funds raised from the Crowd Sweep go towards helping the foundation donate funds to the local hospitals in cities and towns that host Grand Slam events.
