Authorities in Peace River are investigating a string of vehicle break-ins that took place over a three hour span on Sunday. Peace River RCMP says it responded to a number of reports in the Shrewsbury Estates area, with the belief that approximately 30 vehicles were targeted.

Mounties are asking residents in the area to review any potential surveillance footage between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. on October 16th. Police say they’re looking for two males dressed in all black going onto driveways checking vehicles. The RCMP says some general tips to help keep your personal property safe including keeping outside lights on during the night and installing surveillance cameras.

Police continue to investigate these incidents and encourage the public to report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood.
