This week marks Small Business Week in the City and County of Grande Prairie. Events are planned throughout the week to celebrate entrepreneurship in the region.
“Small Business Week is our annual celebration of entrepreneurship in our region,” says Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce Chair Tertius Genis. “Our vision is connecting business and creating opportunity.”
Things kicked off Monday with a networking event at the ATB Entrepreneur Centre followed by the Women in Business Lunch Tuesday. On Wednesday, Lunch with Rotary will feature guest speaker Kelly McTaggart from the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
The week culminates with the Grande Prairie Chamber Awards of Distinction Thursday night. This year’s theme is Dare to do things differently: Power up your growth!
