Police looking for witnesses to serious hit and run

Mounties in Grande Prairie are looking for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run that left a man with serious injuries. It happened around 5:34 p.m. Thursday in the area of 76 Avenue and Resources Road.

So far, the investigation has found a red SUV hit a man who had gotten out of his vehicle on 76 Avenue. It’s alleged the SUV fled the scene but was later found by officers.

The RCMP is investigating and looking for any witnesses that were in the area at the time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
