Wetland Centre to host first-ever open house

For the first time, the Wetland Centre in Evergreen Park will be holding an open house for those who want to know more about Ducks Unlimited and what they do in the region. Billed as a family-friendly event with tours, demonstrations, activities, refreshments and more, it’s meant to give residents a chance to ask questions about current research projects and possible community science actions.

Officials say they’re also looking for input and feedback on the future direction of the Wetland Centre. The open house takes place Wednesday, October 5th from noon to 7:15 p.m.
