Heritage Village to close for season Sunday

Sunday will be the last day of the season to visit the Heritage Village at the Grande Prairie Museum. It is closing for the season but will reopen on October 14th and 15th for the Heritage Village Folktales Tour.

The City of Grande Prairie says an estimated 13,000 visitors made their way through the village since it opened in mid-May. This year also saw the reopening of the upstairs portion of the Pipestone Creek Store, which includes bedrooms and a weaving/sewing room with antiques.

The Heritage Village will be open Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 6 p.m. Entrance is free.
